Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 27 January 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules that apply to your use of the eSIM connectivity services and the Site operated by JusteSIMs (ABN 28 764 919 720). It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breach may lead to throttling, suspension, or termination without refund.
1. Lawful use
You must use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the laws of the country where you are physically located, your country of residence, and Australia. You must not use the Service in connection with any country, person, or entity subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by Australia, the UN, EU, UK, or the US Office of Foreign Assets Control.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk communications, phishing, or impersonate any person or entity;
- Distribute malware, ransomware, viruses, or other harmful code;
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks, port scans, intrusion attempts, or any activity intended to disrupt or compromise systems or networks;
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion;
- Infringe intellectual-property rights or distribute counterfeit goods;
- Transmit or facilitate access to child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that incites violence or terrorism;
- Operate a public proxy, VPN exit node, open relay, server, or IoT / M2M application inconsistent with retail consumer use;
- Mine cryptocurrency or run high-volume peer-to-peer file sharing;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service;
- Exceed the data allowance, validity, or any technical limit applied to your plan;
- Bypass geographic restrictions, throttles, or device-compatibility checks;
- Reverse-engineer or decompile any part of the Service except to the limited extent permitted by mandatory law.
3. Fair use
Our plans are designed for retail, individual travel use. Fair-use daily allowances vary by plan (typically 500 MB – 10 GB per day at full speed); once reached, speeds are reduced to a 2G-equivalent (approx. 128 – 512 Kbps) for the remainder of the day, resetting at the start of the next day in the destination country's time zone. The specific limit for each plan is shown on its product page.
Uses that materially exceed retail-traveller patterns — extended HD/4K streaming, continuous high-bitrate uploads or live streaming, large cloud backups, or downloads over 5 GB per file — may be limited or blocked with or without notice.
Roaming on networks not included in your plan's coverage may not work or may incur separate charges from your home carrier. You are responsible for understanding which networks are included.
4. Reporting abuse
We do not actively monitor the content of communications. On a credible report of activity in breach of this AUP we may investigate, block traffic, suspend or terminate accounts, and notify the reporter or relevant authority. To report abuse or a security incident, email support@justesims.com with "Abuse Report" in the subject.
5. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you have breached this AUP we may, at our discretion and without liability, warn you, throttle or suspend service, terminate the plan or account, withhold refunds, cooperate with law enforcement, or take any other action permitted by law. A breach of this AUP is a material breach of our Terms of Service.
6. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. The current version is at justesims.com/acceptable-use with an updated effective date.
